About Oki
Oki started from a simple question asked every day in many families: "Did you take your medication?"
Why Oki exists
People who take several medications forget doses and mix up times. Those who care for them, often from far away, only find out by asking, and asking every day wears both sides out.
Existing apps keep medication, food and exercise in separate places, and only share with people who installed the same app. Oki brings the routine together and lets the family follow along with a link, with nothing to download.
What we believe in
Simple for the person taking it
Large text, few taps and reminders that follow up politely. Designed with a 70-year-old in mind, not only a 30-year-old.
Peace of mind for caregivers
See that the morning dose was taken without calling to ask, and know when something was missed.
Your data is yours
No ads and no data selling. Export or delete everything whenever you want, right in the app.
Organize, not diagnose
Oki records what you enter. It gives no medical advice and does not replace your doctor.
How we take care of your data
- Everything you log stays on your iPhone. The copy in your account is optional and only happens after you consent to health data processing.
- Data travels encrypted and is stored encrypted, with rules that let each person see only their own records.
- Each share link has a long, random address, never shows up in search engines and shows only what you chose. You can end it anytime.
- Meal photos are kept in private storage and only appear on a link if you allow it, through addresses that expire.
- Medication names, notes and photos never go to analytics or advertising tools.
- Each kind of data has a retention period set out in the privacy policy.
Who makes it
Oki is an independent project. We answer every message personally, in English, Portuguese or Spanish.
Oki is not a medical device and does not replace medical advice.
