Oki Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Oki app and the tryoki.app website ("Oki", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Oki, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Oki is
Oki is a personal organization app for medication reminders, meals and exercise logging. It lets you track your own routine and share that tracking with other people through a link.
2. Important health notice
Oki is not a medical device and does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It only organizes information you enter yourself.
- Do not rely solely on Oki to take medication. Reminders may fail due to device settings, battery optimization, missing permissions, the phone being off, system updates or other factors outside our control.
- Never start, stop or change a treatment based on the app. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
- In an emergency, seek medical care immediately.
3. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older to create an account. A legal guardian or caregiver may record information about a person in their care, provided they are authorized to do so.
4. Your account
You are responsible for the information you enter, for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity in your account. Contact us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Oki for unlawful purposes or to harm others;
- enter another person's data without their authorization or their guardian's;
- attempt to access accounts, links or data that are not yours;
- circumvent technical limits, reverse engineer the service or scrape data;
- overload our services.
6. Link sharing
The sharing feature creates a public, hard-to-guess address. Anyone with the link can view the shared content without an account.
- You choose what to share, for how long and with whom you send the link.
- You can revoke any link at any time, which ends access.
- You are responsible for who you share with. We cannot control whether a recipient forwards the link.
- By sharing another person's information, you confirm you are authorized to do so.
7. Subscription, free trial and payment
- Some features are free. Premium features require a subscription.
- The 7-day free trial is offered through the App Store or Google Play. If not cancelled before it ends, the subscription renews and is charged automatically.
- Charges, renewals, cancellations and refunds are processed by the store (Apple or Google) under its own rules. We never receive your card details.
- To cancel, use the subscription settings in your store account. Cancellation applies to the next cycle; access continues until the end of the period already paid.
- Prices may change. We announce changes in advance and they apply to later cycles.
- When a subscription ends, your data and reminders remain available; sharing links are paused until you renew.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Intellectual property
The app, the website, the Oki brand and their content belong to us. The data you enter remains yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store and display that data in order to operate the service, including on links you create.
10. Privacy
Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy at tryoki.app/privacy, in accordance with Brazilian LGPD and, where applicable, the GDPR.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss or consequences arising from: a reminder not delivered or delivered late, a missed, duplicated or incorrectly taken dose, health decisions based on the app, service unavailability, or unauthorized access to a link you shared. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time in the app, which erases your data and revokes your links. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
14. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of São Paulo, SP, Brazil have jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law grants you the right to your local courts.
