"How has it been going?" deserves a better answer than "pretty good"

Doctors ask how a medication is working, and most of us answer from memory. Memory says "I take it every day." The real answer might be "most days, except the week I traveled." That difference matters when a doctor is deciding whether to change a dose or switch a prescription.

Oki keeps a medication log for doctor visits without any extra effort. Every time you tap "Taken" on a reminder, it goes into your history. When an appointment comes up, you choose a period and Oki creates a PDF from that history, right on your iPhone.

You walk in with facts instead of a guess, and the conversation gets to the point faster.

What goes into the medication adherence report

The report lists the medications in use and, for the period you pick, how many scheduled doses were taken, which were late, which were skipped and which were never logged. It also shows a list of the missed doses with the date and time, so patterns are easy to spot.

You can put a name at the top, which helps when the report is for someone else. If you also log meals and exercise in Oki, you can choose to include them too.

In the app itself, the History tab has an adherence calendar, so you can look back at any day before you create the report.

  • Medications in use, with adherence for the period
  • Missed doses listed by date and time
  • Optional name at the top and optional meals and exercise

Print it, email it or hand over your phone

The PDF is created on your iPhone. From there you can share it like any other file: email it to the office before the visit, send it by text or WhatsApp, AirDrop it to a nearby Mac or print it to take on paper.

It is especially useful in a few situations: a first visit with a new doctor who doesn't know your history, a follow-up after a medication change, or when you go with a parent to their appointment and want both of you on the same page. A caregiver who helps set up a parent's medications can create the report on the parent's iPhone and bring a printed copy.

A record you keep, read by the person who knows medicine

The report is a summary of what you logged, not a medical record and not a diagnosis. Oki doesn't interpret the numbers or suggest changes. Your doctor reads it and decides what it means for your treatment.

The PDF report is part of Premium, along with full history and stock control. Premium starts with a 7-day free trial, so you can try it before your next appointment. Reminders and logging are free forever.
